The Status of Blogging

As you might have guessed, blogging is not our favorite thing to do. Not that we don't have a ton of new things and exciting projects to share with you, but art is more of a visual media form and spending so much time and energy on words just seems to be overkill. However, we will continue to keep this blog as an additional point of contact. The more ways you can get to us, the better!

For those that want to see what we are up to, feel free to follow us and say "hi" on instagram. We love meeting new people and always enjoy your comments. Plus we are actively updating it. Yay!

So as not to disappoint though, and since this is a blog post, our latest project, Fly Girls, is a collaboration with our friend Melodreama. Dropping this Thursday, this blind-boxed series showcases the kick ass female pilots of WW2!

Make sure you pick them up in our big cartel shop before they fly away forever.

Stay nerdy!

Sneaky Snow Ball Customs

Long lines at the post office.

A messy desk piled with work.

It must be Christmas time again!

And while this may not be your idea of fun, we thrive off of it. After all, robots are the reason for the season, right!?

The work for Christmas has been fast and furious starting long before Halloween. And finally, with the start of the Sneaky Snow Ball last night at Kidrobot London we can reveal some of our newest work.

Introducing our trio of Christmas cats:

We can't thank Sneaky Raccoon enough for asking us to be part of this amazing show. The artists are all incredible and we hope that the Snow Ball is a rousing success.

Merry Christmas!!

The Robot Revolution

Since our bots have a mind of their own, and with the robopocalypse just around the corner, we figured that they might be asking for some time off work. What we didn't expect was for them to quit.

Brought to us by Silver this morning:

Beep! Boop! Beep! Bop! Beep! Beep! Bop!

Translation:

This is our formal notification that December 31st will be our last day of employment at Jenn and Tony Bot.

We appreciate the opportunities that we have been given, but feel that our talent will be needed as the leaders of the robot uprising.

Good luck…

At the risk of of upsetting our future robot overlords, we have no choice but to set them on their way. We're officially declaring that December 31st will be your last chance to pick up any of the bots that you see on jennandtonybot.etsy.com

For those concerned, we do have a plan to thwart the revolution. We will rebrand. We will rebuild. And we will continue to provide custom services to those that wish to build their own robot army.

Until then, good luck!

A is for Alphabot

We don't want to brag, but our bots have taken their 0s and 1s and traded them in for their ABCs.

From time to time the two of us like to explore the possibilities of our bot design and take on a big project with the sole purpose of pushing ourselves as artists.

With our love of the "mouse" and our obsession with Vinylmation toys, we decided to create our own Alphabot with the help of our Disney friends.
